A collaborative project with Good Company Productions and JUNO-nominated drummer Sarah Thawer, Live @ 44 was a virtual live concert held during the pandemic for which I led the art direction and set design featuring custom motion graphics. We created an ultra-immersive experience for the viewers by creating a green screen optimized set, on which psychedelic, cartoon-style motion graphics were projected during the livestream show. My aim was to create a nostalgic, 70s style atmosphere to mirror Sarah’s experimental music style - transporting the audience into a new dimension. It was a sold out show leaving a positive cultural impact on the Waterloo Region community during an uncertain time.
